Yale MATHCOUNTS Outreach is a Yale University undergraduate organization that recruits Yale undergraduate volunteers (primarily from a competitive math background) to coach math teams at local New Haven elementary and middle schools. We aim to increase mathematics engagement and accessibility for students in the New Haven area.

In total, we host 4 mathematics events a year for local and regional middle schools: November School Competition, Yale Girls' Math Day, New Haven MathCounts Chapter Competition, and Yale April Competition. Currently, MC Outreach has 10 board members, coaches at 12 New Haven middle schools, over 40 active Yale student coaches, and has an email reach of over 400 subscribers.
